WaveDialer is a browser-based phone dialer extension designed for use with GoHighLevel CRM. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is used.
Data We Access
The WaveDialer Chrome extension accesses the following data only on GoHighLevel domains (app.gohighlevel.com and app.leadconnectorhq.com):
- Page URL: To detect which contact you are viewing and pass context to the dialer.
- Phone numbers on page: To enable click-to-call functionality on visible phone numbers.
- Microphone: To enable voice calls through the browser (WebRTC).
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect browsing history.
- We do not collect personal information beyond what is needed for call functionality.
- We do not track your activity outside of GoHighLevel.
- We do not sell or share any data with third parties.
- We do not use cookies or tracking pixels.
How Data Is Used
All data accessed by the extension is used solely to:
- Display the correct contact information in the dialer when you navigate GoHighLevel.
- Enable click-to-call on phone numbers within GoHighLevel pages.
- Facilitate voice calls and log call results to your GoHighLevel account.
Data Storage
The extension stores minimal data locally in your browser:
- Agent selection: Your name/identity choice (stored in localStorage so you only pick once).
- Caller ID preference: Your preferred outbound phone number.
No data is stored on external servers beyond what GoHighLevel and Telnyx (the telephony provider) require to process calls.

Permissions Explained
- activeTab: Allows the extension to interact with the current GoHighLevel tab to detect contact context.
- notifications: Allows the extension to show browser notifications for incoming calls.
